It's a BOY! :)

Jonathan and I found out last week our little one is going to be a BOY! :) We really didn't care either way, it's just nice to know what to prepare for. We feel so blessed to be having our little man and his name will be, Tanner Owen Robinson. My Granddad passed away in July and he was a huge part of my life. His first and middle initials were T.O., so little man will have the same initials.

We Are Having a Baby! :)

Jonathan and I are excited to announce that we are expecting our first baby on May 19th! :) We are so excited and cannot wait to meet he/she! I turned 13 weeks pregnant yesterday and everything has been pretty smooth so far. No morning sickness, just really sleepy and some heartburn. Unfortunately I am unable to put our ultrasound pics on here due to technical difficulties but we will put some up soon! :)

Jonathan and I got to visit our good friends from college a couple of weekends ago. They had a baby in May and we were so excited to see him!!! :) The picture above is Me, Lauren, and baby Jacob. In this picture Jacob is watching tv at 3 months old! hahaha He sits and watches sports all the time and if you turn him away from the tv he gets cranky!

Anya's Birthday!

Many of you know I have 5 brothers and sisters, 2 of which are 8 and 5. I love my brothers and sisters so much! :) This past saturday we celebrated my little sis's b-day! :)

July was a whirlwind

My last post seems like it was forever ago! Now for an update...

In my last post I asked for prayers for my Granddad, sadly, Granddad passed away at 11:03 am on July 20th. I miss him so much but I am at so much peace because I know God is taking care of him! He is happy and so healthy now.

Right after my Granddad's burial, I started my last graduate

class and now I am pleased to say, I am officially finished with my Masters Degree! :) Although I still get my pay raise now (thank God :) ) I will not actually get my diploma until December due to the lack of a summer graduation (Blahhhh!) I'm excited and feel like I have accomplished so much! :)

This past week I had a staff retreat at my new school I'm teaching at this year. I am so excited about being at Fountain City and I love everyone there! :) I will ask for prayer t

hough because this year will be exciting but challenging because I will be in a new place and learning all new things.

Tonight I was the cherry on my sundae, since it was tax free and because I finished my masters, my wonderful hubby took me to Best Buy to get a new computer and I am now a proud owner of a MacBook Pro! Yeah! :)

In other words we are doing well. Although we had some stress lately, all is well and we praise God for comforting and encouraging us. Till next time, May the Lord Bless you and Keep You! :)

Prayers for Granddad

My grandparents have always been huge in my life and I attribute my coming to Christ to their guidance and example. They are like parents to me and as they age, it is getting hard for me. They have always been very active and have worked non-stop their whole lives on their 75 acre farm. A few years ago, they diagnosed my granddad with Alzheimer's disease.... I was shocked! My granddad has always been up and with it and than it was like it happened all of a sudden! Although he is on medication, it seems like it has not slowed down in progression and a few months ago they discovered a heart problem.
Thursday Granddad had a Dr's appointment and they told him to go immediately to the hospital to be admitted. He is there and they have had to give him 3 units of blood because he is bleeding somewhere, they just do not know where. They did a GI lab yesterday but it came back okay so they are just having to do test to figure out where he is bleeding. Please Pray for our family, especially my Grandma who is having a very difficult time (Both of her parents had Alzheimer's and now her husband).

Summer time!

This summer break has been much needed! I just finished my first full year of teaching and began my summer classes to finish my masters degree in July. We started off our summer with a relaxing trip to the beach... We went to Hilton Head Island, SC with my mom, step dad, 3 siblings and their significant others. It worked out perfectly because we were there for our 2 year wedding anniversary! (The picture above is from our anniversary dinner) Here are just a few pictures from our trip!

The first day on the beach we saw; a horseshoe crab, a sea cucumber, a starfish, and found an endless amount of sand dollars in the ocean! There were also jellyfish EVERYWHERE!
